Payne Theological Seminary Important Financial Aid Dates and Deadlines

June 26th Fall Semester Begins. On-line Session I begins
September 7th Residential courses begins.
October 9th On-line Session I ends.
October 18th Term II of the fall semester 2010 begins.
December 17th End of the fall semester 2010 for both On-line and Residential students
January 2nd Application process opens for the July 1, 2011-June 30, 2012 academic year. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after January 1st. It is advised that you file your Federal Income Tax Return (1040, 1040A, or 1040EZ) before completing your FAFSA.
January 3rd Spring semester 2011 begins. Loans are posted to students’ accounts for Residential and Term I On-line students.  Refunds are processed 14 days after the DROP/ADD Period is over.
January 17th MLK, Jr. Day, Institution Closed.
February 28th To apply and submit the FAFSA for the 2011-2012 academic year electronically at: by our priority processing date of February 28th.
March 11th On-line Session Term I ends.
March 21st On-line Session Term II begins.  The second of two disbursements for on-line students during the spring semester is done.  Refunds are processed within 14 days after the end of DROP/ADD Period.
March 30th Graduate Exit-Loan Interviews must be completed and on file at: for those recipients graduating May 2010 and on file in the Financial Office.
April 15th Summer Registration begins.
April 20th Begin processing summer requests for financial aid for those students who are meeting Standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
May 27th Spring semester 2011 semester ends.
May 31st Summer semester 2011 semester begins.  Loans are processed after DROP/ADD Period is over. Contact the Registrar’s Office for the DROP/ADD summer semester 2010 date.
July 20th Summer semester 2011 ends.
June 30th Applicants who want to be considered for financial aid for the 2010-2011 academic year must submit a FAFSA on the Web applications by midnight Central Daylight time.
September 15th

Corrections on the Web forms must be submitted by midnight Central Daylight time for those who wish to be considered for financial aid for the 2010-2011 academic year.
