The primary goal of the Office of Student Life is to promote the spiritual, academic, and personal well-being of Payne students and to ensure that each student is embraced within the Payne community. This Office coordinates student orientation, special educational forums and seminars, scholarly dialogue, writing and exegesis workshops, and Bible Study and supports the various student committees including both the Student Government Association and Student Life Committee.
The low student-teacher ratio at Payne Seminary makes possible a close relationship among faculty and students, providing for considerable attention to individual student interests and needs, and cultivating a rich community of faith. Each student is assigned a faculty advisor and receives meaningful personal attention from the members of the faculty. The professional relationships, fellowship and bonds that are established between students and faculty members provide the context for a challenging academic, personal, and religious environment, offering support and growth.
